    Silverwater Café

Owners Alison Hero-Powers, and David Hero

Alison Hero-PowersThe Silverwater Cafe was started in 1989. Our philosophy has always been that in this fast-paced, often overwhelming world in which we live, there need to be places that people can equate to that feeling of going home. A place to recharge. A refuge where you can duck out for a moment, relax, eat a great meal, capture a smile, and remember to take in a deep breath. We aim to make the Silverwater one of these places. We believe in supporting the community in which we live. We apppreciate that we are able to purchase locally from so many local establishments and people: Cape Cleare fisheries, Omega Seafoods, Key City Fish, Elevated Ice Cream Co., Evergreen Meats, Plum WIld Farm, Moon Hill Mushrooms, Scow Bay Oysters, Marrowstone Island Shellfish, Mt. Townsend Creamery, Pane d'Amore, the Village Baker, Sunrise Coffee, Wild Sage Teas, Port Townsend Brewing Co., Sorenson Winery, Fairwind's WInery, Petal's Flowershop, Colinwood Farm, Corona Farm, Fairwinds Farm, Old Tarboo Farm, Frog Hill Farm, Dharma Ridge Farm and Nash's Produce. Alison loves to garden and play with her 4 year old son, and David loves to work in his pottery studio. Both are very active in the community and feel grateful to live in Port Townsend.
