Over 7 years I have worked hard to make Sirens the kind of place I would like to hang out in. A cozy place for my community to come together and sip a single malt scotch by the fire and discuss local politics in the cold of winter or to drink hand-muddled margaritas on the deck and watch the sail boat races in the summer. A place to get a bite to eat before the movie or come have dinner and stay for the bluegrass band that evening. A place where all feel welcome and comfortable. A place that encompasses things I enjoy in life. As for involvements, well, I am chairing the Planning Commission, President-Elect of the Chamber of Commerce, on the Sailing Association Board, and big into supporting theater and arts. You'll see me coordinating the beer garden at the Wooden Boat Festival, the July 4th Fireworks for Sunrise Rotary, or out mountain biking the local trails. The reason I can be so involved? I owe it all to the world's greatest staff. They love Sirens and making Sirens what it is as much as I do.
