Owners Gwen Evans, Sophie Elan

Slather is devoted to bringing you hand-picked lingerie from Paris, our own line of designer sleepwear and hand-blended bath, body and beauty products. Co-owner and clothing designer, Gwen Evans, is a certified aromatherapist with over 30 years' experience in herbs and essential oils. She makes all natural soaps, lotions, creams, specialized therapeutic blends and perfumes. Slather's other co-owner, Gwen's daughter, Sophie Elan (20), is quite possibly the youngest retail store owner on the Peninsula, has an extensive knowledge of lingerie and Gwen's aromatherapy products, and has spent time living and traveling in Europe, China, and Mexico. Gwen and Sophie hand-pick French lingerie and accessories in Paris 2-3 times a year. They also host Paris Found Tours, taking small groups on walking tours of Paris flea markets and the fabric, fashion and food districts. Future plans for the shop include expanding the lingerie line and offering custom aromatherapy and blending workshops.
